(Gilmore City/Fort Dodge, Iowa)  Calcium Products, Inc. an employee owned company based in Gilmore City with a plant in Fort Dodge has purchased a warehouse in Aplington, Iowa.  Calcium Products, Inc. intends to use the space to store their increasing brands of bagged soil amendment products.  This acquisition will more than double their bag storage space allowing for faster delivery to the expanding customer base.

 

“We are excited to have acquired this additional location and warehouse space”, states Deb Zeman, Vice President of Calcium Products. “We expect to grow into the new location over time and we’ll also have 35,000 sq. feet available for lease.”  In addition to the new acquisition Zeman says Calcium Products, Inc. will be hiring one or two employees to man the Aplington facility.   

 

Calcium Products, Inc. currently operates two production facilities. At the Fort Dodge manufacturing plant, SuperCal SO4 pelletized gypsum is produced. At the Gilmore City plant they manufacture SuperCal 98G pelletized limestone, HumaCal, and a variety of other products. Bagging operations are conducted at both facilities.
